Tom is a sales and product strategist who is passionate about emerging technology that is shaping the institutional trading landscape.

He started his career in FX sales and payments in 2009 at a broker dealer before moving into derivatives and structured products. During this time it became clear that corporate entities were accelerating plans to transition away from voice-based trading models, so he pivoted into trading technology working for large international banks. This shift from analogue corporate trading to institutional workflow optimisation sparked a lasting passion for digitisation and low-latency technology.

After nearly nine years in institutional trading technology, he founded a consulting firm - Node Partners - focused on helping startups and venture-backed companies scale within the crypto and Web3 ecosystem, before being approached by a top-five global asset manager to help scale sales and product strategy for their digital assets and tokenisation business.

Outside of work, Tom is kept busy raising a young family and spends his spare time exploring interests such as running Bitcoin mining infrastructure, building self-hosted LLM models and workflows, and researching trends impacting the institutional trading landscape.
